Stitch3D now has a built-in help chat. Find answers on your own, or message us and get a faster reply.

  • Click "Chat with us" at the bottom of the sidebar, or the help button in the viewer.
  • Ask a question and get answers from our help articles right in the chat.
  • Need a person? Start a conversation with our team from the same window. Replies show up in the chat, with an unread badge so you don't miss them.
  • Help links in the share dialog and the upload dialog open the right article in place, so you stay in your project.
New

Compare rasters side by side

The 2D viewer has a new compare mode that splits the screen into two maps. Put last month's orthomosaic on the left and this month's on the right, and see what changed on site.

  • Each side picks its own base raster or DEM, with an optional overlay and a vector layer on top.
  • Both sides pan and zoom together, so you always look at the same spot.
  • Annotations, GCPs, photos, and measurements show on both sides. Toggle each one per side.

Compare mode is available on Personal and Pro plans. Your project needs at least one raster or DEM to use it.

New

Hillshade and slope for DEMs

DEMs now have their own display options in the layer panel, so you can read terrain without exporting to another tool.

  • Hillshade: set the sun by azimuth and altitude, or pick a date, time of day, and time zone. Adjust vertical exaggeration to bring out subtle relief.
  • Slope: color the surface by slope with a colormap and a slope range you control, or fit the range to your data.

Raster uploads also got clearer. Files are checked before they upload, and when a file has a problem you see what's wrong and how to fix it. Point cloud, raster, and vector layers now show their CRS in the same place in the layer panel.
