Vector files

You can now upload vector files to your projects and see your linework on top of your point clouds and rasters.

Supported formats:

  • DXF
  • Shapefile, uploaded as a .zip with the .shp, .shx, .dbf, and .prj files
  • GeoPackage
  • KML and KMZ
  • GeoJSON

Each vector layer has its own style controls: color, opacity, line width, solid or dashed lines, and polygon fill. For DXF files, you can show or hide the DXF's internal layers.

Two notes before you upload:

  • DXF and GeoPackage files need a Georeferenced project, because they rely on the project CRS for placement.
  • Some formats display in the 2D viewer only. The layer info panel shows where each vector layer is available.
